Barack Obama is today celebrating two achievements after winning a second term in office as President of the United States, he has also penned the most popular tweet of all time with three simple words, ‘four more years’.

With an impressive 515,151 retweets under its belt (and counting) in just four hours the missive has easily surpassed the previous record of 223,370 retweets set by Justin Bieber.

Obama has been basking in an array of platitudes from fans, wellwishers and supporters since seeing off Mitt Romney with Lady Gaga, Cher and Will Ferrell weighing in with their support.

One lone voice of dissension pierced the general hubbub of goodwill however, vituperative billionaire Donald Trump observed: ‘Our country is now in serious and unprecedented trouble… like never before’.
