A YouTube clip has emerged showing a voter trying to select Obama as their chosen presidential candidate but the machine selecting Republican opposition Romney instead.

It is unknown where the electronic voting machine is located, but the location of the user, called centralpavote, who uploaded the clip onto YouTube suggests it could be somewhere in Pennsylvania.

After uploading the video, 'centralpavote' then took to social media site Reddit to describe the problem, saying that the issue only arose when trying to vote for Obama.

He said he only managed to vote for Obama by finding a 'small white sliver' of the screen that would allow his name to be highlighted.
