Clipper Ventures has unveiled its round the world yacht race website with nerv, its new digital agency.
The agency was appointed following a competitive pitch against undisclosed agencies.
Terri Clarke, marketing brand manager at Clipper Ventures, said: “The new site looks fantastic, and really captures the fervor and excitement of the yacht race. nerv impressed throughout the pitch process, and we look forward to working with them to further engage our audience and enhance our reach.”
The 2013-2014 Clipper round the world yacht race will begin in July, and will last for 12 months, after 40,000 miles of ocean racing.
Ringo Moss, production director at nerv, said: “We’re very excited to be working alongside Clipper Ventures on developing their online presence.
“Now the initial launch has been completed we will start work on innovative features such as the race tracker, crew management areas, social media integration and crew stories, making the annual yachting event as accessible, easy to engage with and participate in as possible.”
