It looks like Facebook could once again be rolling out changes to its Timeline service as it tests out a new design.

According to the Telegraph, the makeover for profile pages will involve placing all posts in a single column on the left with friends, apps, activity updates and places on the right as opposed to the current Timeline layout which uses a two column design, forcing users to zig-zag as they scroll down.

In addition, with the new design when there are no more modules to show, the Timeline appears blank and does not fill with status updates or wall posts.

The company confirmed to Inside Facebook that it is testing the design with "a small percentage of users."
