The BNP leader Nick Griffin has had his Twitter account (@nickgriffinmep) reactivated, after it was suspended following a tweet giving the address of a gay couple and encouraging a visit from a "British Justice team".

The tweets giving the address of Michael Black and John Morgan, known for taking a B&B owner to court for saying giving the pair a double room would go against her religious beliefs, have since been deleted.

After receiving complaints about his original series of tweets, Griffin retorted "Why don't left & gay activists confront Muslims instead of picking on meek & forgiving Christians? Bullies are always cowards!"

A petition on change.org to get Nick Griffin ‘off twitter’ has gained about 3,500 in the past 15 hours.
