Kopparberg Cider has unveiled a pop-up in Manchester this week, set to move to London on Saturday, with free workshops, exhibitions, screenings, talks and parties set to take place.

The concept was conceived and developed by creative agency Margaret_; with events to include a pop up Polaroid portrait studio, as installed by The Impossible Project.

Rob Calder, Kopparberg’s head of marketing, said: “The business took a very different approach to the UK cider category when it took a chance with pear and then fruit, in a market which was all about traditional apple. Kopparberg had a go and people were very receptive to that. In the early days the brand started supporting new exhibitions, galleries and bars set up by like-minded souls.

"There’s obviously a lot of gloom around about the world we live in right now...so the ün-establishment is about revelling in that spirit of having a crack at something, starting something your own way. We want people to come down and contribute to that buzz of potential.

“There’s a huge amount of energy in pop-ups and ours is no exception. Come with an open mind, we guarantee you’ll learn something.”
