The Drum is set to liveblog through out the day about BIMA’s national D Day campaign, aiming to bring live updates on the project from across the UK.

The aim of today will see agencies from all over the UK aim to educate high school and college students about digital careers through hands on advice.

Over 1800 students, in nearly 70 schools, will be visited by a digital agency that will mentor the students and raise awareness of their career options.

During the one-day event the schools will be challenged to design a mobile app, an innovative digital solution, a social media campaign, web coding, or multimedia content in order to win prizes.

Winners of the challenges will receive a prize for their school ranging from 100 Raspberry Pis (a credit-card sized computer that connects to a TV and keyboard), tours of Sky Studios and a one-year subscription to The Drum for teachers that participate. The agency that mentors the overall winner will also receive a BIMA Award.
