Mulberry has launched its Brilliant Britain website as a “love letter” to Britain following an inspirational year of Britishness.

Following from the British government’s GREAT campaign which promoted Britain on an international scale, Mulberry aimed to celebrate quintessentially British landscapes, architecture, crafts food, people, traditions and innovations with a ‘live’ guide.

Mulberry asked the likes of British Vogue editor Alexandra Schulman and photographer Tim Walker for recommendations but has also asked visitors to send in their own nominations in order to populate a geographical map of Britain.

In addition, edited highlights from the website have been produced as a bespoke printed booklet, which have been launched in Mulberry stores throughout the UK and Europe with Asia and the United States to follow.

Henrietta Thompson, editor Brilliant Britain commented on the venture: "Britain is unequivocally the place to be at the moment. But while there is a lot that's already famous about this island nation we wanted to do more to celebrate the real skills, creativity and craftsmanship here, as well as relish all those funny things that really make the place so great.

“Working on the project with Mulberry has been unbelievably fascinating, and I know there is still so much to discover about how brilliant Britain really is!"

The website was designed by Applied with the booklet created by Construct.
