DE:STRUKT member Conzo, Alfa, Tony Riff and McBess teamed up to paint a 42ft by 32ft wall in Shoreditch with the theme of representing Umbro’s heritage and history in a mischievous way.

Monorex and its sister company High Rise Murals / Secret Walls in London gathered the ‘dream team’ last week and briefed them on the spot to come up with three ideas in three hours to pitch to the Umbro clients.

The artists took 24 hours over two days to paint the wall, with over 200 cans of black and white spray-paint and two cherry pickers being used.

The project also served as a promotion of the Secret Walls tournament at the end of this month, where four individuals will be chosen and mentored by Alfa, Conzo, Mcbess or Tony Riff before a ‘battle’, with the winner’s artwork then being put up on a massive billboard.
