easyJet is set to launch its latest pan European advertising campaign, created by VCCP, on ITV this weekend during the first of this year’s live X Factor shows.

The campaign will run for four weeks and looks at reasons for traveling and the best part of taking a break, such as relaxing on the beach, having fun with the kids, losing track of time with a loved one and enjoying local cuisine.

Peter Duffy, easyJet’s marketing director, said: “The success of our first significant TV ad campaign was phenomenal so we really had our work cut out to make our second ad even better. Making travel easy and affordable is at the heart of what we do and the aspiration for this latest campaign was to produce a film of those holiday moments that will reignite fond memories and make people want to jump on the next easyJet flight. ”

The campaign has launched on social media before it airs on TV,and forms the focal point of new marketing initiatives created by easyJet, including a new website tool called “Inspire Me” which helps customers find the perfect destination for them.

As well as this, the airline will be running a business-led advertising campaign to promote reasons why business travellers should use easyJet.
