Former NFL players apologise for bad ad decisions in Snickers campaign

Snickers has unveiled a series of ads, created by BBDO New York, to promote its sponsorship of the NFL.

The chocolate brand has continued its ‘you’re not you when you’re hungry’ campaign in the half page ads, which feature former NFL players advertising a silly product, before ‘apologising’ in an ad on the next page, claiming that they make poor decisions when they are hungry.

The ads are set to run in magazines such as ESPN magazine and Sports Illustrated.
