Bath Festivals, the umbrella brand encompassing the Bath International Music Festival, the Independent Bath Literature Festival and The Telegraph Bath Festival of Children's Literature, has appointed Smith & Milton Bristol as its creative agency partner.

The role will involve a rebrand of the group as well as the application of the new brand and communications across the three cultural events online and in print.

Owen McNeir, development and marketing director, Bath Festivals, commented: “I am delighted to confirm the appointment of Smith & Milton as our creative agency partner. We very much look forward to proceeding with the rebrand and the 2013 Independent Bath Literature Festival creative.”

Howard Swift, business director, Smith & Milton Bristol, said: “Smith & Milton Bristol is absolutely delighted to be asked to work with Bath Festivals. We have long attended and admired the quality, breadth and confidence of all three festivals. It will be a privilege and challenge to try to encapsulate and communicate even a little of the incredible atmosphere of these events.”
