CBS Outdoor UK appoints Malcolm Stoodley as Sales Director – UK Direct

CBS Outdoor UK has announced the appointment of Malcolm Stoodley as Sales Director – UK Direct. The new role sees Stoodley responsible for creating new and exciting sales initiatives in CBS Outdoor UK’s local markets and overseeing the implementation of a new CRM system from SalesForce.com.

Prior to joining CBS Outdoor UK Stoodley spent five years with Future Publishing where he and his team won two AOP Digital Sales Team of the Year awards for creating fully integrated, global sales offerings for the business. He has also held senior positions at Mirror Group Newspapers and IPC Media.

“I am delighted that Malcolm is joining the Operating Board at CBS Outdoor as Sales Director for our UK Direct sales team,” commented country director at CBS Outdoor UK, Jason Cotterrell, “Malcolm will bring insight and experience from the magazine and online publishing sector, helping CBS Outdoor develop new and effective sales strategies.

“The UK Direct team represents a significant revenue stream to CBS Outdoor and operates in every local market in the UK with a particular focus on Bus and National Rail advertising.”

Starting with CBS Outdoor UK in October, Stoodley said of his new appointment: “I am really excited to be joining CBS Outdoor as Sales Director UK Direct, the professionalism, sales culture and talented individuals throughout the company made it a very easy decision. I am especially looking forward to learning from and adding to the considerable success the team are already experiencing.
