Digital marketing agency Jellyfish is to expand with a new office on the East Coast of America, headed up by Daniel Wilkinson.

Wilkinson, who has been at the agency for seven years, will act under the title, head of US agency, and be responsible for the global team at Jellyfish.

Based in Baltimore, Wilkinson will initially oversee a team of eight permanent members of staff, two of which have relocated from the UK, while five more recruits will be brought on board in the coming months, the agency told The Drum.

Two clients which have driven the US expansion include video game retailer Gamestop, for which it aims to increase brand visibility and traffic through a paid search campaign and online university Walden University, where the agency is implementing a detailed Google Analytics installation for its website.

Rob Pierre, managing director for Jellyfish, commented; “As a growing business we have built our reputation on delivering high end complex digital marketing strategies for our clients. We target companies that are trying to adapt their business model and increase lead generation through building perfect digital journeys.”
