Following its Summer Appeal, Diabetes UK is set to follow up with further mailing campaigns to drive donations.

The charity, which worked alongside Intermarketing on the development of its Summer Appeal, has also tasked the Leeds-based agency with its regular giving upgrade mailing. This will thank regular donors, provide further information on how their donations are spent and research successes, as well as asking the donors to increase their regular gift.

The Summer Cash Appeal included three direct mail packs featuring separate tailored creatives, which were mailed in June and have achieved great success. Whilst the most recent regular giving upgrade mailing will go to a different audience, the cash appeal donors from this Summer will be targeted to become regular givers next year to ensure their on-going, long term support.

Steve Sowden, managing partner of Intermarketing, said: “We are proud to be continuing our work with Diabetes UK. Intermarketing has long established relationships with many charities and through our work in this sector other charities are giving us the opportunity to show what we can do for them. It is always satisfying to help our clients improve their response and for the charities this means raising and saving precious funding.”
