Tennent’s Lager is asking Scots to put into words how they feel about their nation as part of a new campaign to create the ultimate Scottish pint glass.

Last year Tennent’s ran a similar regional glass campaign, which handed over the Tennent’s pint glass to drinkers asking them to describe their home ‘cities to a T.’ The result was six eye-catching glasses packed with the best and most humorous quotes from each city, that were distributed and sold in their thousands across the country.

Launched this week on Tennent’s website and Facebook page the campaign calls for Scots to put into words the unique pride, passion and humour of Scotland, capturing and defining the characteristics of the nation. In support of the campaign Tennent’s have also been touring the country with a T Booth, allowing people to express their views in person on video in six locations.

Closing on Sunday 2 September, the best words, phrases and quotes submitted online, on Facebook and on video will take pride of place on the glass which will launch in bars in time for St Andrews Day.

Sponsorship and PR Manager for Tennent’s, Elaine Forbes, commented: “The ‘Cities to a T’ campaign got a fantastic response from the Scottish public, with thousands of entries resulting in some wonderfully quirky, unexpected and hilarious content for our 6 city glasses.

“We’re now asking the people of Scotland to inspire us once more to create a unique glass that celebrates the things that make us smile, make us proud, and could only be from Scotland. - so we are really looking forward to tapping into our nation’s boundless creativity, eccentricity and humour once again.”
