Tony Scott, advertising and film director younger brother of Ridley Scott, has apparently committed suicide by leaping to his death from Vincent Thomas Bridge, a roadway spanning San Pedro and Terminal Island in LA.
Witnesses said that Scott didn’t hesitate in the act, which entailed mounting a security fence at the bridges highest span.
A family spokesperson said: "I can confirm that Mr. Scott has indeed passed away. The family asks that their privacy be respected at this time."
Scott leaves behind twin sons and his wife, Donna.
