Two new ads for Churchill, promoting pet and home insurance, have been unveiled by WCRS; continuing to feature the dog and companion Martin Clunes.

The pet insurance ad, Bones, sees dogs gather to thank Churchill for the pet insurance through a huge pile of bones; while home insurance ad Lawnmover sees the dog annoy Clunes by using lawn art to celebrate the latest deal.

Simon Peck, managing director at WCRS, said: “These latest ads see the friendship and companionship between Martin and Churchill further develop, bringing to life the dependability and warmth of Churchill the insurer. Not only is the Pet Insurance spot a TV debut for Churchill, it’s also the first time Churchill the dog’s piano skills have been seen on TV.”

Media planning for the two ads, which launched yesterday, was handled by Mediacom.

Amanda Walker, marketing director at Churchill, said: “Churchill hasn’t really had too many chances to spend time with his canine chums, so it was great that he finally did. Fittingly, this was also the first time that we have advertised our pet insurance product on TV, which is a really exciting step for the brand.”
