Brakes appoints Nexus Communications as newly retained PR agency

Foodservice supplier, Brakes, has appointed Nexus Communications as its newly retained PR agency following a four way pitch.

Covering all aspects of trade PR, the remit includes the M&J Seafood and Woodward Foodservice arms of the Brakes Group business.

Managing director at Brakes, James Armitage, commented: "The creative thinking from Nexus was exciting and innovative, demonstrating a clear understanding of the Brakes brand and the direction in which we are moving. I fully expect the appointment to help to strengthen Brakes’ position as the leading foodservice company in the UK."

Kevin Coles, Nexus Director, who will lead the account said Nexus were "delighted to be working with Brakes."
