Air New Zealand appoints Vizeum as lead media agency for Europe

Air New Zealand Europe has announced the appointment of Vizeum as the lead media agency for their United Kingdom and Continental Europe, following a four way pitch against MPG, Initiative and Rocket.

Beginning its role for Air New Zealand next Monday, 13 August, Vizeum’s brief includes planning and buying requirements for brand and conversion activity.

The airline has formally commenced a closed creative review for their United Kingdom and German markets, although DraftFCB will remain the lead agency in New Zealand with roster agency Saatchi and Saatchi.

John Wilhelm, brand manager for Western markets at Air New Zealand, said: “Air New Zealand is very excited to be partnering with Vizeum as our media agency in Europe. They have demonstrated strong online and traditional media expertise as well as the strategic thought leadership that we ideally need from a media agency partner. They will play a key role in helping us grow our business in the European market.”
