Time Out to launch free distribution magazine for London

Time Out Group has announced that it has decided to launch a new, free distribution magazine for London, replacing the current paid-for weekly title.

With the aim of broadening the reach of Time Out magazine, the redesigned editions will focus on London’s events and attractions, with 300,000 copies set to be distributed each week.

Carolyn Sims, marketing director at Time Out, said: “Over 90% of Londoners were positive about the launch of a free entertainment weekly magazine for London, and the majority of people thought Time Out was the best publisher to provide it.”

All other Time Out weekly magazines will continue to operate within their cities under their current model.
