Automobile manufacturer Opel has briefed McCann Birmingham with the development and delivery of a new European digital platform.

Opel approached McCann’s following its development of the Partners website for Vauxhall, with a brief of adopting the website for roll-out across 13 European countries.

The platform will aim to promote exclusive offers and will be developed in a range of languages, while a series of marketing initiatives will also be created to promote it.

Paul Dean, divisional director at McCann Birmingham, commented: “The Partners web portal we developed for Vauxhall is hugely successful and we’re delighted to be developing the program as a best-practice model to roll out across Europe, and potentially wider.

“It’s a real testament to the work we do for Vauxhall in the UK and it’s fantastic to be working with Opel once again.”

McCann Birmingham is currently meeting the European markets and delivering training for the new platform, which is scheduled to go live at the end of August.
