EMAP joins Professional Publishers Association

EMAP has announced that it has become a member of the Professional Publishers Association (PPA), and will now help shape the association’s strategy and activities for business publishers.

EMAP CEO Natasha Christie-Miller will join senior figures from UK data and business publishing on the PPA business media group (BMG) Board.

She said: “I am looking forward to working with the PPA Business Media Group as we collectively work to create a sustainable, stable publishing future. With quality journalism at the core of all our successful, multi-platform brands, we continue to offer innovative ways to curate content, inspire and celebrate the communities we serve.”

The PPA promotes and protects the interests of print and online publishers of consumer and business media in the UK.

Barry McIlheney, CEO of the PPA, said: “EMAP is home to some of the most recognisable and respected brands in business publishing, and we are delighted to welcome them into PPA membership. I look forward to working with Natasha Christie-Miller and her colleagues to build on our promise of promoting and protecting the interests of business publishers.”
