The BIG Partnership, the UK's largest PR and digital marketing agency outside London, has announced details of three new accounts won in competitive pitches.

BIG revealed they will roll out the new PR campaigns for industry body CIBT- ConstructionSkills Scotland, the University of Edinburgh's Informatics Ventures and procurement specialists Millstream Associates.

CITB-ConstructionSkills, the leadership sector skills council and industry training board for construction, appointed BIG to handle media relations in Scotland, working closely with its London headquarters and its Scottish director Graeme Ogilvy. The programme of activity will include promotion of CITB-ConstructionSkills’ key campaigns including leadership, positive image, enterprise and “cut the carbon”.

BIG’s Edinburgh office secured the two year extension with Informatics Ventures, which supports all of the Scottish Informatics and Computer Science Alliance (SICSA) universities. Informatics Ventures aims to increase the number of start-up and spin out technology companies throughout Scotland to develop commercial success stories of scale. BIG will be supporting a high profile series of events and educational courses being delivered by Informatics during this time

The agency’s Aberdeen office has also revealed it will provide PR services for e-procurement specialist Millstream, which manages the Tenders Direct website and Public Contracts Scotland, the Scottish procurement portal, as well as similar websites for the Norwegian and Irish governments.

BIG director Neil Gibson has said of the wins: “These new account wins, featuring three of our offices, have given us a great start to the new financial year and we look forward to building on this in the year ahead.”
