tic tac confirmed as MTV EMA UK sponsor

tic tac has been confirmed as the UK sponsor for the MTV European Music Awards, in a deal brokered by MEC Access with Sky Media.

A campaign is set to launch in August, ahead of the ceremony on 11 November, including the integration of the MTV EMA logo on the packaging for the confectionary brand.

Mauro De Felip, Ferrero UK marketing director, said: “tic tac – with its ‘shake it up’ strapline – has a clear natural alignment with the MTV EMA and we are excited to be supporting this event with a strong and integrated support plan, which includes TV promotional adverting on the MTV network in the UK, plus digital, outdoor and in-store activity.

“We hope that this will remind consumers of the tic tac and its great tasting flavours.”

The campaign will include through-the-line activity, on-air ticket giveaway, homepage takeovers, pre-roll video, display ads and banners.
