In light of the popularity of novel Fifty Shades of Grey, nPower has leveraged an opportunity to get its energy saving message across to twitter users.

Using the hashtag fiftyshadesofgreen, followers have been asked to tweet energy saving tips and advice.

The energy company has also created a blog page dedicated to fiftyshadesofgreen, where an amusing post has been written in a similar style to the romance novel.
