Global brand consultancy The Brand Union has appointed Tim Hill as its development director in a move to strengthen its senior management team.

Previously with Siegel + Gale, where he was responsible for pan-European marketing and development strategy, Hill has also held senior positions at Lambie Nairn, Coley Porter Bell, and Turquoise. As well as spending five years on the senior management team at Futurebrand, part of the InterPublic Group.

Toby Southgate, CEO UK and Ireland, The Brand Union, commented: “Tim is a real impact player. He brings huge depth of experience, he’s worked with global brands across multiple sectors, and he’s helped to establish reputation and knowledge at the C suite level."

Hill’s new role will see him leading business development, marketing and communications strategy as well as managing the agency’s profile and reputation. His appointment follows a number of senior creative and management hires at the agency earlier in the year.

Southgate continued: “As The Brand Union grows into a dynamic force creating resonant and effective experiences for brands, Tim's role will be key in identifying where and how we can add real commercial value for our clients,”

Speaking of his appointment, Hill added: “It's tremendously exciting time to be joining such a dynamic and forward thinking agency. I really look forward to working with the many smart and talented people in the agency and hopefully playing a key role in its future success.”
