180 Amsterdam has appointed Graeme Hall as creative director, joining 180 Amsterdam from Y&R New York, Hall will relocate to The Netherlands after nearly three years in the US.

At Y&R New York Hall worked on campaigns for the likes of Dell and VH1 and was creative director for Virgin Atlantic, prior to this Hall spent five years with DDB London working on campaigns for brands including, Marmite and Harvey Nichols.

Managing Partner and executive creative director at 180 Amsterdam, Al Moseley, explained Hall’s new role will see him working as “CD on various projects across all our business, creating his own work, and mentoring teams, alongside Martin Terhart.”

Moseley added: “We are thrilled Graeme is joining us as he's not just a great writer who has been celebrated by the industry, as a creative director he also inspires those around him to be the best they can be.”

Speaking of his new appointment and the move to The Netherlands, Hall said: “It had to be something pretty special to lure me away from one of the greatest cities on this planet. And 180 Amsterdam is that kind of special.

“A wonderfully talented group of guys, bucket loads of potential, awesome clients, great office - I can't wait to get started.”

Hall is one of the top ten creative in the history of the Young Guns Award winning over ten times in five years, he was also chosen as an Art Directors’ Club of New York Young Gun and served as a judge on this year’s D&AD Awards on the Writing for Advertising jury.
