GE has launched a campaign which sees the takeover of a three carriage DLR train, with a full wrap and internal advertising, in order to promote the fact that the company is providing digital imaging equipment for the Olympic Games.

Created by CBS Outdoor UK, the DLR campaign will run for 16 weeks, as well as running on 100 central London buses from 23 July for eight weeks.

The campaign was planned and booked by OMD International and international outdoor advertising specialist PSI.

Mark Oben-Pepra, regional account director for GE at OMD International, said: “It was important that we sought ways to accelerate awareness of GE’s significant contribution to the London 2012 Games in an imaginative way. The DLR presents a unique opportunity to generate a targeted and unconventional impact as part of our wider campaign.”
