Peninsula Festival to use ValueBond app

Peninsula Festival has unveiled an app, ValueBond, with a barcode to be fitted on wristbands so attendees can access offers, competitions, music channels and exclusive videos, as well as triggering a donation for a charity from the content sponsor.

Created by digital agency Rippleffect and mobile app producer Portable Pixels, the app went live last year and has been used to help create donations for various charities.

This implementation marks the first time worldwide that a 'cost free giving' element has been used on a concert ticket or wristband.
