Following its acquisition by Publicis Groupe, BBH has installed a new senior management team, with Alexandre Gama chosen to succeed Sir John Hergarty as worldwide chief creative officer.

Also promoted will be Simon Sherwood, previously group chief executive officer, who will become group chairman, Gwyn Jones becomes group chief executive officer and Neil Munn, CEO of the agency’s brand ventures company Zag, will become group chief operating officer as well.

Founding partners Nigel Bogle and Hegarty will both remain active on client business, however they will transfer their executive responsibilities to the management team.

Bogle will also mentor the management team, while Hegarty will continue to champion creativity on behalf of BBH, while also handling key client assignments.

The BBH holding company board will be made up of three members from the Publicis Groupe Management Board; Maurice Lévy, Jean-Yves Naouri, and Jean-Michel Etienne – as well as Steve King, Global CEO of ZenithOptimedia, Nigel Bogle, Sir John Hegarty and Simon Sherwood.

Sir John Hegarty said, “Creativity is at the very heart of BBH. The quality of our work and the people who produce it have always been central to our success and will continue to be so into the future.”
