Property website, Rightmove has selected social influence marketing specialist PeerIndex to help generate conversation for their new summer campaign through PeerPerks technology.

PeerIndex's PeerPerks service has been used to offer free copies of the book "Successful Property Letting" to social media influencers in the property category. The PeerPerks service aims to allow people to benefit from their social media profile by giving them a chance to receive free products based on their activity and influence on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. The technology assesses social media profiles and then facilitates a sampling interaction between the brand and influential individuals.

The Rightmove campaign has targeted influential UK social media users who write on topics including real estate, interior design and architecture, and invited them to visit a campaign microsite. When they register with the site they will be told whether they are sufficiently influential to win one of 250 books on ‘Successful Property Letting’.

Azeem Azhar, CEO of PeerIndex, said: “The PeerPerks service will allow Rightmove to target the people with real influence on relevant topics. It will let Rightmove interact with influential individuals on the social web creating a buzz in the property space.”

Natalie Marques, marketing manager at Rightmove added: “We’re excited to see how the PeerPerks platform can work to increase pre-release buzz of our summer marketing campaign. We want influential social media users to be talking about Rightmove and PeerPerks gives us a great opportunity us to boost our on-going efforts in a really unique and exciting way. In launching this campaign we hope to reinforce our status as the UK’s number one property website amongst the our target audience.”
