Newcastle agency OPR has launched a new digital content division to help its clients create and publish editorial content online.

The agency has brought together videographers, writers, photographers, designers and programmers. O digital, which will help its clients develop a content strategy for their website and social media presence. From there they will create or curate a range of content in written and video formats.

The agency is also working on a blog site to allow financial experts to create and curate content about all aspects of running a business in the North East of England, from tax changes to business planning advice. Its editorial calendar encourages guest contributors including posts from universities and other business advisors across the UK.

Robin Owers, managing director of O digital, has said: “As a PR agency we have been heavily involved in the creation of original content for many years, writing for the media, art directing excellent photography and producing videos that tell a story. Now with the growth in digital communication the demand for our editorial skills has created a new opportunity to help clients also publish their own content to fulfill the appetite of the information-hungry consumer. Whether its for a website or blog, social media channel like Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest or Twitter we are developing all types of content for many platforms to help our clients create engagement with their customers in their preferred space.”
