Fetch Media appoints Matt Champion as media services director

Mobile marketing agency Fetch Media has appointed Matt Champion as media services director. This appointment comes weeks after technology entrepreneur and Bigmouthmedia founder, Steve Leach, joined the mobile agency as chairman.

Champion joins Fetch from Amobee, where he was new business director. Prior to this he held the role of digital director at PHD Media, he was also director at Media.Com and executed his first mobile campaign in 2002.

His new role will be to lead the growing media team to ensure they deliver first-in-class advertising solutions to clients, as well as spearhead the media services offering at Fetch which covers end-to-end mobile media planning and buying, app promotion, strategy and execution.

Speaking of his appointment, Champion said: “With Fetch Media continuing to expand its industry-leading media offering, now is an incredible time to be joining the agency. So far we’ve only glimpsed the potential of mobile marketing, and I’m looking forward to working towards keeping Fetch Media and their clients at the forefront of this very exciting industry.

“With over twelve years’ experience in digital, this role has been ten years in the making for me.”
