Fédération Equestre Internationale, the international body governing equestrian sport, has unveiled a digital platform with Appaloosa Agency to celebrate 100 years of equestrian sport in the Olympics.

Timed to coincide with the Olympics countdown, the platform looks at equestrian achievements throughout the history of the Olympics and pays tribute to the horses and riders that have competed.

Richard Johnson, FEI director of corporate communications, said: “Full credit goes to Appaloosa Agency in creating such an intuitive and stylish digital tool. Turning valuable historical information and images into such a simple platform was no easy task, it’s great that a sport such as ours celebrating 100 years within the Olympic movement can showcase itself in such a contemporary manner. Let’s hope the fans of all ages, athletes and social media followers around the world will find this a fun and interesting experience.”

An international campaign to promote the new digital platform will launch this month, with engagement through FEI’s social media channels.
