Shazam's Alex Musil joins GNM as director of product
Alex Musil, executive vice president of product at Shazam, has joined Guardian News & Media as director of product.
From August, Musil will oversee the development of the media company’s product team and also be handed responsibility for planning its product portfolio, reporting to Tanya Cordrey, director of digital development.
Cordrey said: "We are delighted to be welcoming Alex to the Guardian. He brings with him extensive experience that is completely in line with the Guardian's forward-thinking approach towards digital innovation. Heading up our product team, Alex's role is critical to the development of our next generation product portfolio".
