Jewellery company Pandora has appointed taxi advertising company Ubiquitous to promote its silver birthstone rings as part of a wider push across other marketing channels.

The taxis will aim to reach consumers in the target 18-49 year old target market, with 170 based in the London area, as well as taxis in Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool and Manchester.

Peter Andersen, president for Pandora Western Europe, said: “Taxi advertising is a prominent part of the multichannel campaign we are running to promote our latest birthstone ring range. Black taxis are a fantastic platform for our brand, both because of their attention grabbing, iconic nature and the way they constantly interact with consumers within an urban landscape. In this way, our beautiful taxi creative will be key in driving intrigue and footfall into our stores.”
