This weekend, Twitter began a US TV advertising campaign, having teamed up with NASCAR racing with seven adverts running in total.

The 16 second adverts, which ran during the broadcast of the Pocono 400 NASCAR race, featured the URL; Twitter.com/#NASCAR, alongside action from the races. One advert featured driver Brad Keselowski taking an image with his iPhone. This ad included the tag line "See what he sees" (see above).

A special NASCAR page was also erected by Twitter to feature the best tweets using the partnership’s hashtag.
