Aviva launches roadshow to promote sponsorship of GB & NI Athletics Team

Aviva has launched a roadshow with marketing agency RPM to promote its sponsorship of the Aviva GB & NI Athletics Team.

Aviva GB & NI Team athletes will be making personal appearances at the roadshow, which will aim to help educate the public on British athletics.

Kirsty Donkersley, athletics sponsorship manager at Aviva UK, said: “Aviva have been supporting British athletics since 1999, it is a great sport and we want to show the public that athletics can be accessible to all. RPM have once again brought athletics to life to successfully get the public backing the Aviva GB & NI Team through a dynamic experience with Athletics at its heart. After the success of last year’s Aviva Athletics Roadshow, which attracted just under 12,000 visitors, we have high hopes for this year.”

Dom Robertson, managing director at RP, said: “We are thrilled to be working with Aviva for a second year to raise the profile of the Aviva GB & NI Team and to show the public that athletics can be a fun and exciting sport. We believe strongly in experiences that truly engage the public, and through its unique features the Aviva Roadshow will capture their imagination, create a path to participation and offer consumers a value exchange in order to get them behind the team.”

The roadshow will start this weekend and end at the start of July.
