20th Century Fox hires Royal lookalikes to take part in the 'Sid Shuffle' as part of Ice Age 4 global promo film
Ahead of the release of Ice Age 4, to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, 20th Century Fox commission five of the UK’s top Royal Lookalikes to join in with 200 kids doing the ‘Sid Shuffle’ next to the Thames.
Working with brand experience agency Maraduke Grimwig to capitalise on Jubilee celebrations, Fox hired look-alikes of Prince Charles, Katie and William, Prince Harry, and of course, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, to take part in the dance as part of a Global internet film to promote Ice Age 4: Continental Drift.
Also joining the 200 children from dance schools across London, were Sid and Scrat from the movies.
Ice Age 4: Continental Drift opens in UK cinemas on 13 July.
This is the second time that Marmaduke Grimwig has worked with 20th Century Fox, having last year worked on a promotion for another animated Summer film, Rio.
