Ware Anthony Rust appoints John Wringe as non-executive chairman
Ware Anthony Rust has announced the appointment of John Wringe as non-executive chairman.
Wringe will work alongside the agency team led by managing director Alison Meadows, helping it as it undertakes a mid-term business and corporate development programme.
He said: “Having grown-up in regional agencies before taking to the global stage, this is in many respects a return to roots for me.
“These are fascinating times for communications agencies and I am looking forward to wrestling with the challenges that a leading out-of-London player like WAR faces.
“WAR has long held a strong reputation for delivering thoughtful work for complex clients, and I know that their fierce independence and individual approach is just what many clients are craving nowadays.”
