The World Tourism Forum has appointed Tree Communications to handle its PR in the UK.

The Forum will be held for the third time in Lucerne, Switzerland from 17-19 April 2013, with Tree Communications expected to raise the profile of the forum in the UK with both national media and key stakeholders in the British travel and tourism industry.

Professor Martin Barth, general manager of World Tourism Forum, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Sarah [Gormley, agency founder] and her team at Tree Communications. The UK is one of our target countries and so it is extremely important to have local support from experts like Sarah.

“I am convinced that with Tree’s help we will be more likely to achieve our aim to become the platform where global leaders from tourism, travel and hospitality meet the next generation.”
