PokerStars unveiled outdoor ad campaign for new app with Transport Media

PokerStars has launched an outdoor advertising campaign with Transport Media to promote its new app.

The campaign will run for four weeks on the Southern Railway network, featuring the line ‘Pray for a delay’, and aims to persuade users to download the free app to play on their journey.

Mark Dolan, outdoor consultant for Transport Media, said: “83% of frequent rail users access the internet at least once per day and they are twice as likely to own a smart phone. Train Advertising provides a positive captive environment, with the average commuter spending 22 minutes within the train carriage, allowing them to absorb and interact with the advertising message and download the Pokerstars App to their mobile phone or tablet.”
