Creative Scotland issues tender for communications agency to oversee new magazine
Creative Scotland has issued a tender to find a communications agency to help its devise a strategy for a forthcoming magazine.
The tender is calling for submissions of interest for an agency to help the publication communicate ‘Scotland’s creative future’, and promote Scotland as a creative nation, showcasing artists, organisations and projects.
The tender document says that the title should be of ‘high quality, contain stunning photography, high standards of design’ and contain ‘fresh approaches’ to promoting Scotland’s creativity.
This will include establishing guiding principles for the magazine, developing a ‘small editorial board’, the creation of production procedures for the magazine that will be published between two-to-four times a year, and provide high quality editorial content.
Creative Scotland marketing manager Bernard Regan is overseeing the project, reporting to Kenneth Fowler, director of communications and external relations.
Submissions of interest should be received by 8 June, with meetings scheduled to take place between 18 and 25 June.
A contract is expected to be agreed with the successful agency before mid-July.
