Spitalfields City Farm has partnered with The Assembly for Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution Day this Friday, where it will hold an outdoor cook-out.

The lunch will teach attendees how to grow, pick, and prepare food from scratch, such as seasoned pasta, with recipe cards to be given out.

The Assembly will take photos, videos and tweet from the event as part of the many various activities during Food Revolution Day.

Trevor Hardy, co-founder of The Assembly said: ‘Jamie Oliver’s campaign to create healthier eating habits is well known and incredibly important. We are pleased to be able to contribute towards the success of this campaign, and Spitalfields City Farm provides the perfect setting to experience fresh, locally grown produce and educate the local community.”
