LexisNexis, a provider of legal, tax and business intelligence, has appointed Green Cave People to raise the profile of the brand.

A division of information solutions provider Reed Elsevier, the company appointed Green Cave People to create a provocative national campaign specifically aimed at the UK legal profession.

Edward Bird, strategic marketing director at LexisNexis, said: “We are proud of our heritage, the strength of our products and our plans for the future. Now we need to strengthen our brand and communicate our story.

In Green Cave People, we are delighted to have found an agency partner who has both the strategic and creative firepower to help us achieve that. They demonstrated a real understanding of what makes our market tick.”

The press, outdoor and online campaign launches mid-May with the aim of promoting what LexisNexis and its customers do, featuring lines such as “The Future of Law. Since 1818.”

It will be in broadsheets as well as 12-sheet cross-tracks, 6-sheets and escalator panels at selected Tube stations in London.

Marc Cave, managing partner of Green Cave People, said: “The LexisNexis story is impressive but most lawyers only know it in part. The “Applied Legal Intelligence” campaign highlights the fact that, in this era of change for the legal profession, LexisNexis offers a formidable array of weapons for any law firm or lawyer looking for a competitive advantage.”
