The Macallan brings in Talk PR to promote its Masters of Photography initiative

Single malt whisky brand The Macallan has appointed Talk PR to oversee a global project as part of its Masters of Photography initiative.

The Macallan Masters of Photography project, now in its fourth year, brings together whisky making and photography, and aims to build the Macallan brand internationally.

The appointment of Talk PR will see it plan a series of activities in key cities across Asia, Europe and the USA, beginning this month and running until October, which will promote the Masters of Photography.

Susie Davidson, global PR manager for The Macallan, said that the Macallan Masters of Photography franchise was entering ‘a very exciting time’ which meant that it needed a global PR partner, resulting in the appointment of Talk PR.

Tanya Hughes, managing director of Talk PR, added; “The Macallan is a fantastic win for Talk Global and we’re delighted to be working with a premium drinks brand that compliments our luxury lifestyle portfolio of clients. This is the third piece of global work won by the team in three months, with new projects for P&G brands and adidas by Stella McCartney underway.”

Meanwhile, Talk has also opened a new division, Talk Global, which will aim to handle the needs of global consumer brands.
