Libra Television and Two Sugars have co-produced a series of short documentaries for BBC Learning called Same But Different.

The eight, eight-minute films feature children aged between seven and 11 explaining what life is like for children growing up with disabilities.

"Libra found some truly inspirational children prepared to share their experiences,” said David Barnes, Two Sugars’ head of film, who directed, shot and edited the series.

Louise Lynch, managing director of Libra, added: "We wanted the documentaries to have a beautifully crafted, filmic quality to do the stories justice."

The series is running online as eight distinct episodes and a compilation of the films is scheduled to appear on BBC Two today.

The films will remain on the BBC Learning Zone Class Clips website for the next five years.
