A window installation and pop-up shop at the Liberty London store to promote the launch of the Dr.Martens & Liberty collaboration, has been developed by ODD London and Andy Hillmann Studio.
The ‘Wild Nature’ creative aims to celebrate the ‘seeming discord’ between the two brands, featuring Liberty’s florals, alongside the ‘tough’ Dr. Martens style and will run as part of the ongoing Liberty ‘National Treasures’ campaign.
Simon Jobson, marketing director for Dr. Martens, said: “The collaboration with the iconic Liberty of London brand, whose ethos of quality and creativity mirrors that of Dr. Martens, enables us to continue to challenge the perception and appeal of the brand.”
Nick Stickland, founding partner and creative director at ODD, added: “The refined intricacy found in Liberty’s trademark prints provided rich territory for us to explore creatively.”
The collaboration will offer two main prints, one named ‘Strawberry Thief’ and a second entitled ‘Martens Flower’ (see gallery).
