Thinkbox, the commercial TV marketing body, has unveiled its latest TV campaign, Harvey and Rabbit.

Harvey the dog, a Thinkbox stalwart, will take centre stage in the campaign, which will be broadcast from May 1 on Channel 4, Sky Media, Turner Media Innovations and UKTV.

Created by The Red Brick Road and directed by Si & Ad, it sees Harvey tug on the heartstrings of his owner to prevent him from chucking out his best friend – a slobber coated stuffed toy called Rabbit.

Running with the tagline 'Discover the power of TV advertising' this sees Harvey play a TV ad recounting the story of how he and Rabbit became acquainted, persuading his owner to keep the toy as a result.

Andrew MacGillivray, Thinkbox’s Marketing Director: “Our TV ads have been loved by the public but have also proved to be our most effective B2B communication with marketers.

“In this ad we discover what Harvey had in his suitcase when he left the dogs home to join his adopted family. The Red Brick Road with directors Si & Ad have created a wonderful ad that brings to life the emotional power of TV storytelling. The first Harvey ad is a lot to live up to as it really struck a chord with people, but we hope this one will be just as well received. It’s great to bring Harvey back to TV.”
